I read that boycotting countries can be illegal in the US. Is this true?

It's illegal to participate in a foreign boycott, in this case the Arab boycott of Israel, unless the boycott is sanctioned by the State Dept, like Cuba or Sadaam's Iraq.

The law usually comes into play in commercial transactions, but my guess the boycotting Churches will be dealiing with the issue in the not so distant future.
