Sounds like most on this thread totally do not understand the feline frame of mind. They have no masters, they have servants and staff. I have owned crazy felines, totally psychotic, that is there nature at times. You don't own the cat, they own you. If you have one in you household you deserve everything you get. Did you actually think you could train them? They were only humoring you, don't be so gullible, cats rule.

The 2x4 cat excepted, I agree.
We currently have 3, the oldest of which has been with us since 1995. He's sailed 15,000 miles with us in the tropics, traveled about 10,000 miles by car, and loves to get under the covers about 6 AM until I get up at 8. If I don't get up, he GENTLY puts his claws on my nose to let me know he wants to go outside.
Beats the heck out of the psycho cat in the headline!
