Agreed. Loving pet owners would want to know the medical cause and whether the cat was suffering. Then, too, if the owners were innocent and had a normal regard for their daughter they would be eager to explain the episode for her in medical terms. Their lack of feeling is worrisome--they must make wonderful parents.
