I hope its not one of those people going from one addiction to the other extreme. I hope he stays with Jesus for the long haul. Life with the lord has many trials.

Yes, especially in America today with persecution of Christians coming from almost all popular culture. However, to accept and serve the Lord basically means that you desire to keep the Ten Commandments which lead to a good, clean and fulfilling life and Christians believe, to an eternal home in Heaven vs. spending eternity in Hell, which is unthinkable. The good that Mr. Korn can do through this decision might be hidden from the public at large but the blessing on his own life if he perseveres will be tremendous. The road he was on probably was going to lead to some kind of personal abyss in middle age.
