"Aside from being rude, insulting, argumentative, and foul mouthed, you also cannot read. In post #103 - I said the following:"
I was not fould mouthed. I don't believe I was rude. I was argumentative in that I argued my point.
I attacked your points, not you.
"I'm fed up with listening to all these people call our policemen and women by awful names .... I'm also fed up with being misinterpreted, misstated, and just plain told I'm lying, etc. So .. the "debate" is over!"
I never called police men and women names. I criticized THIS officer's actions and said he needed to be held accountable for those actions.
I never said you were lying. I disagreed with you, and pointed out why. If you feel I misrepresented your statements, you are welcome to correct me.
You got a lot of feedback on your statements, and some of it wasn't worded constructively. I tried to address the points you made constructively. If I failed to do so, then you have my appologies.
"THEREFORE - PLEASE GET SOMEONE TO INTERPRET THIS FOR YOU - OUR CONVERSATION IS OVER!!"
I hope you have a nice day too.
You seem to not grasp the concept of a sequenced message thread. One may certainly be responding to your postings before #103, only later to actually reach #103 and discover your lack of interest.
You also seem unable to understand - or, oddly, unwilling to respond - to reasonable questions inquiring about your view of the incident (again: why would anyone inform the police they are going to spend time with friends in a park? why would a plainclothes cop jump a possibly armed person who was otherwise not causing any problems or threats whatsoever?).
"I'm fed up with listening to all these people call our policemen and women by awful names ....
We respect those who are reasonable. We do not respect those who are not reasonable, physically assaulting a plainly harmless group of mothers and children.
I'm also fed up with being misinterpreted, misstated, and just plain told I'm lying, etc. So .. the "debate" is over!"
But...you are continuing it anyway!!!
Apology accepted.
Please don't demean any officer that gets killed in the line of duty. I know the statistics - about 150/year get killed in the line of duty each year, most of those are auto accidents. Some are pursuit accidents, some are the officer's fault, but they are still dead. I think the general perception is that more officers die every year in big shoot-outs, but of course that is not the case (regardless of the TV show depictions), but that doesn't mean their job is not dangerous.
