"unprecedented volume". I believe people
all over are trying to see the truth.
I hope they get that site up again soon.
This is badly needed to educated people on
Terri's exact status.

Breathing apparatus (oxegyn tank) is different from a ventilator.
The tank requires you to breath on your own. The other doesn't.
Chris Matthews, who thinks she ought to be starved to death, said she looked "delightfully pleasant". But of course, looks can be deceiving = Michael Schiavo looks like a husband, George Greer looks like a judge.
It is not differently, morally.
It's a GOOD sign. Bad that some won't be able to get the information they seek.
I think that's a dodge. I think the real question Greer is considering is whether the likelihood of him successfully covering up his crimes by killing Terri is sufficient to justify the greater punishments he would face if he fails. He may decide that coming out to save Terri at the eleventh hour would look much better at a sentencing hearing than continuing to murder her even after it's obvious that he knows that's what he'd be doing.
I would not also be surprised if Greer is contemplaying buying a one-way plane ticket someplace, although personally I'd rather see him turn state's evidence against Felos, especially if (as I suspect) Greer's mainly been acting as Felos' puppet. Greer's actions, of course, are not excusable but he could probably work out a decent plea bargain if he plays his cards right.
I feel sorry for that little boy's mother. I don't recall if she has any other children. It is especially sad for me to see a baby born (esp. with the rate of abortion) only to die from medical issues.
Unfortunately, Judge Greer has held that the guardianship issue shouldn't be resolved until after the issue of whether Terri should be put to death, since it would be pointless to look into the guardianship issue if Terri's death renders it moot.
What's important is not the particular issues raised here or there, but rather that it looks as though Felos may have overplayed his hand. I am reminded of the Book of Exodus, where the Red Sea parts, and God hardens the hearts of the Egyptions to follow the Israelites. I suspect the Red Sea will be closing shortly.
It's important to keep praying, and keep spreading the word to the populace and to the politicians, but I think I may be starting to understand His plan. Had He allowed Terri to be saved earlier, that would have saved one life. By letting things get where they are, He may save thousands.
Also that over $500,000 went to Schiavo's lawyers.
I don't see how that is the same thing. If the child can only be kept alive by ventilation, with NO HOPE of being weaned from it, then he IS being kept alive by artificial means. In reality there are cases where people are kept alive only by machines when there is NO HOPE of survival.
Terri is not one of those cases, as has been proven over and over.

In my opinion, Michael holds the winning cards in the legal battle. Hopefully something new will transpire to change those legal odds.
One major problem has been that the only people with full access to Terri's medical records have been the ones who wanted her dead. But IIRC Felos et al. just did a "document dump" on the Schindler's lawyer, probably figuring there'd be no way he'd sort through boxes of unsorted papers in time to make any difference. I think he got too cocky.

I find his Liberal views on life issues particularly disturbing. He has long since forgotten his Catholic teachings, though he considers himself a Catholic. If you tell him differently, Matthews gets very angry.
He is a Cultural Catholic. Nothing more.
I feel sorry for her too. The baby's medical situation is terribly tragic. The entire situation is VERY SAD.

A very positive sign. They realize that going to what I would call 'stage 3 lying' [I just made up the term] is a bad idea in the era of the Internet.
Stage One lying is when the news media say something they know is false.
Stage Two lying is when the news media say something which they know many people know to be false, but hope people will consider to be a subject of 'honest debate'.
Stage Three lying is when the news media say something knowing not only that it can be proven false, but that they can be proven to have known it to be false.
Once the lie escalates to Stage Three, it can only be a matter of time before it unravels, and anyone who persists in telling it will damage themself severely in so doing.
We should remember Sun and his mother in our prayers also.
Do you think that this just might be the place where the DCF entered the picture? A result of those papers?
