As a spectator, I would have warned the perp after the second punch. Would have killed him if he continued. A man that big can be considered lethal with just his fists. In the Deep South where I live, I would have gotten a medal for dispatching the animal.

I don't know if you are being sarcastic or not. It was a really big guy. And not all 7 were guaranteed to attack. Would you risk being the only guy to challenge the thug, and have 6 bystanders watch you get your face broken? It doesn't seem like the risk is worth the reward.
