Reading through all these replies has me in tears. No, I have not forgotten...never will.
I offer for your contemplation that out this darkest of moments in American history, a beacon of light has struck in the heart of the Middleast, and it's democracy.
When America could've have caused destruction on a scale so large, we took them democracy.
It really is an amazing thing...

I remember that day like it was yesterday b/c I came home to talk to my Dad(he has been a Austin Fireman for 20 years) and ask him,"What would you have done in that situation?" Without missing a beat he said,"I would have gotten there as face as possible." I grew up knowing alot of Fireman and EVERYONE of them would have answered the same way. I will never forget what happened that day but I definitely will NEVER forget the brave fireman who went rushing to the scene and wouldn't leave until everyone got out.
GOD BLESS EVERYONE WHO LOST THEIR LIVES ON THAT TERRIBLE DAY!!!!

So many of the websites that existed in the days after 9/11 are gone now.
Whatever it takes to keep this site up FOREVER, just ask. We will see to it.
Americans in the days, weeks, months, and years following 12/7/41 rallyed to a Great Cause, stayed the course, and defeated our enemies.
That so many Americans see no cause, demand "exit strategies," call for conciliation, "understanding" of those who seek to murder the rest of us is baffling.
That we can no longer unite as One People frightens me, and saddens me.

I agree, let us never forget those who lost their lives, those who heroicly(sp?) sacrificed their lives and prayers for the families affected by September 11,2001.

Thanks for posting Indy and thanks for all the pictures, stories and links Calpernia. Praise God that you survived and can share those stories with us!
Just like many others, the way I looked at the world changed forever that day!
How any one in this country could forget is beyond my comprehension.
It was a wakeup call and we need to remember every single day!
