This photo is from the BBC article. It appears this young girl (probably a different victim) was buried in the ground and stoned.
It's misleading. If you would have moved your pointer over the picture, you would have seen this caption: "Iranian demonstrator mocks up a stoning scene during protests in Genoa, Italy, in 2001."
