Never mind we have a staggering deficit and all our vital needs are on a backlist. Let's just create a new entitlement. Never mind if we can't pay for it - after all every day in California under our liberal Democrats is life on Fantasy Island.

So who is going to pay for it?!

Idiot! (the Dem who introduced it)

First of all, it won't pass even the Dem Legilature and Arnold would absolutely veto it.

It was beat down once by the voters. Arnold will veto it.

If you want an "exodus", get the f*ck out.

I heard a report this morning that under the medicare expansion plan, the federal government would go from paying for about 20% of all prescription drugs to paying for about 50% of all prescription drugs in the next few years.

If the people of California can hold this one off then never fear, the federal medicare expansion will take care of them.

No way Sheila Kuehl and her colleagues will touch that new liberal sacred cow. There is no such thing as priorities around here. You got that right. We don't need no steenken' priorities!

Our seniors are already covered. Now its simply a matter of arguing the next expansion of government health care ought to be for "the children."

Arnold will veto this as a business killer. But don't count on CA having a pubbie guv forever. Remember that Grey Davis was OK with this.

I love it here but the legislature doesn't want the little guy like me around. This state is anti-business, they are digging a hole they will never climb out of. And watch the language, it make you look psycho.

CA will become an American Argentina. The Democrats will to see it after Arnold's gone.

Our politicians in Sacramento don't understand the seriousness of our problems. I marvel at how they look for ways to add to them.

Watching liberals destroy California's economy and culture has become a secret perverse entertainment for me.

We aren't going to fall into the ocean; we're going to jump!

Some questions might be:

1. What about illegals?

2. What happens when these expected savings don't materialize? Who will pay for this?

3. How will costs be controlled when there is no longer competition?

I have one more question to add to the list. Will this mean the un insurable will finally be able to get insurance coverage? This system may be as bad as predicted here. But for those without insurance and that can not get it due to preexisting condition, bad is better than nothing.

My local road has the potholes back after the recent deluge. For Kuehl and her fellow Democrats, maintaining and improving our state's deteriorating infrastructure take a back seat to extending the government's control over our personal lives.

They act like people will put up with whatever they throw at us because we love the weather. When the rich start leaving the state it's all over and at this rate it won't be long.

Voters raised taxes on the rich last year to pay for mental health care. Oh well - the Left figures there might as well be one more trip to the well.
