I don't think our Nike friend will listen to reason. I have never heard a reputable scientist suggest that we should ban DDT because it doesn't break down over time. Bruce Ames is legendary. Bill Wattenberg, too. The people who caused the bannig of DDT, knowing full well that it saves millions of lives, should be on trial, not DDT.
