So the "human rights" crowd is unmasked as being the pawns of Communists and Islamofacism.
Maybe they would have sided with the Axis if they'd been around in 1942.

I guess the libs won't even consider the idea that fighting Bush on every single one of his nominees is gonna backfire!!!
Just like Ollie North---they may call Negroponte a "bad guy", but I call him a patriotic American.

personally i feel this is just another useless layer of government... i shudder to think the amount of damage this position could do it a democrat was to put some one like Janet reno in it. it was rather short sighted and goes against what we want to accomplish shrinking government and bureaucracy.

These neocommunists think they won the past two elections. As rabid anti-Americans, they will protest ANY ONE W nominates for any position. Their objective is to oppose, to try to take the side of our country's enemies. They are not looking for compromise nor will they suggest a viable name; they simply want to block and tear down.
This is why Sphincter suggestion that W "pick up the 'phone" is such BS. No one pretending to be dem leaders has any interest in doing ANYTHING that would help W or make America look good while W is in charge.
These jerks will oppose Negroponte. They might "approve" a Sandinista or a Kerry backed Viet Cong, but an American backed by W, no, never!
