I have to say, David Corn utilizes logical thinking in this piece.

I'm impressed.

One correction for Corn. Valerie Plame was not an "undercover operative." She was a paper pusher at Langley. As such, the supposed laws broken in revealing her identity were not broken. They only apply to undercover agents during an operation. And indeed Joe Wilson revealed his wife was a CIA agent before anyone else did. Certainly others who brought up that fact did so not out of revenge as the loud-mouthed, demented Joe Wilson claims, but to question to propriety of a CIA employee recommending her own husband for CIA contract work. That is a relevent question to raise.

CBS is trying to bootstrap it. This this reminds me of the BS "prosecute Rush" claims that the Palm Beach prosecutor's office "recieved".

CBS has no believability, This was DAY PASS holder. If I ask Mr. Jim Rob reaaaaaaaly nicely perhaps he will permit me to apply for a day pass at the white house to create a "man on the street" running thread from the press room.

CBS should be used as a negative indicator for whatever journalism schools degree holders work there. No joke, they were cheated out of a legitimate education.

What's the point of going after Gannon/Guckert? Because he was pro-Bush? If political bias disqualified reporters, they'd all be gone.

What's the point of going after Gannon/Guckert?

The Left believes conservative or otherwise "hateful" (Nixon wasn't a conservative) Republican Presidents deservedly are destined to crash and burn. Every time there is even a scent of a hint of a scandal, they think THIS IS THE ONE!!

Just like the phantom voter disenfranchisement in Florida 2000 and Ohio 2004, they hallucinate scandals even when there is none there at all.
