I just watched the guy's performance twice.

Lol, I liked it....

Yeah, the eyebrow-raise was a nice quirk.

The Numa Numa kid is no doubt artistic. And artists are usually flighty. He probably desperately seeks attention but hates it for the greater meaning of his craft. They don't respect me. They don't love me. They love the Numa Numa Dance. I'm more than Numa. I won't be typecast or pigeon-holed. I'm Gary! Love me. Love me.

On a wholey unrelated subject when I read "..."Whenever there were computer problems, Gary [the Numa Numa Dance kid] and Corey would fix them for the school," she said..."

When I read this I immediately thought of the Gore Tax. We're linking schools to the internet using billions of dollars in grants for computer hardware, wiring, and the only ones that can fix the computers (and hack them) are the children, not the teachers. Isn't that like a student aiding the auto shop teacher after his car gets a flat, or a student finishing the chemical equation that the chemistry teacher doesn't understand, or a child showing the art teacher how the color wheel works?

Hey, he was down with, and obviously having a good time...more power to him.

That being said, I'm glad there's no audio of me bellowing in the shower.

In a Dieter (Michale Meyer's character on SNL) sort of way, I thought he was pretty cool.

Innocence. That's what we're missing and what this fellow is exhibiting.

I'll say one thing, whether he regrets it or not now, he was having a ball when he made that video! He honestly had fun with that. He is probably a load of laughs to have a beer or two with.

My favorite all-time version of Hava Nagila is by speed surf guitar legend Dick Dale.

Imagine a surf-guitar version of Hava Nagila. Very campy.

 - Chorus 1 (4 times) -
Ma-ia-hii
Ma-ia-huu
Ma-ia-hoo
Ma-ia-haha
Miya-hee
Miya-hoo
Miya-ho
Miya-haha
[These are just sounds.]
- Verse 2 -
Alo, Salut, sunt eu, un haiduc,
Si te rog, iubirea mea, primeste fericirea.
Alo, alo, sunt eu Picasso,
Ti-am dat beep, si sunt voinic,
Dar sa stii nu-ti cer nimic.
Hello [on a cellphone], greetings, it's me, an outlaw,
I ask you, my love, to accept happiness.
Hello, hello, it's me, Picasso,
I sent you a beep [cellphone signal], and I'm brave [or strong],
But you should know that I'm not asking for anything from you.
- Chorus 3 (2 times) -
Vrei sa pleci dar nu ma, nu ma iei,
Nu ma, nu ma iei, nu ma, nu ma, nu ma iei.
Chipul tau si dragostea din tei,
Mi-amintesc de ochii tai.
You want to leave but you don't want don't want to take me, don't want don't want to take me, don't want don't want don't want to take me.
Your face and the love from the linden trees,
And I remember your eyes.
- Verse 4 -
Te sun, sa-ti spun, ce simt acum,
Alo, iubirea mea, sunt eu, fericirea.
Alo, alo, sunt iarasi eu, Picasso,
Ti-am dat beep, si sunt voinic,
Dar sa stii nu-ti cer nimic.
I call you [over the phone], to tell you what I feel right now,
Hello, my love, it's me, your happiness.
Hello, hello, it's me again, Picasso,
I sent you a beep [cellphone signal] and I'm brave [or strong],
But you should know that I'm not asking for anything from you.

I think SW kid had a more embarrassing video, but still, he did a pretty good imitation of Darth Maul.

Hava na gila sounds good to me with whatever instrument. It's kind of like true 'soul' music to me. But I'm a very strange person I suppose. :o)
