Good. Now Israel doesn't have to worry about the backlash from pointing the finger in the proper direction (Syria). Iran should also be on that blame list.

Syria has always tried to derail any peace-process that didn't involve Israel handing back the Golan heights. (NO WAY!!)
Previously this has been a politics without any major downside for Damascus, but now with the Iraqi elections out of the way, maybe Assad and his cronies should reconsider their odds.

The noose is tightening around the Saudi Royal family. The links to all violence seem to sprout from the Royal Brats.

Syria was my first thought.

Yeah, Iran-Syria-Lebannon-Hezbolla-$20,000-sucker-explosion-death and destruction-retalliation-continuation.
Back to beginning.

I don't know if I follow the retaliation/back to the beginning steps. Are vouching for the "vicious cycle" logic?

some day damascus will be a ruinous heap. .
To: Nate1984
Yeah, perhaps so.
But I leave the Israeli's out of my equation and only look at the pali side.
Israel is more than justified to retaliate and the cycle exists on the other side. The other side only.

Fair enough, though I'd just call it basic learning. If it works, do it again. It's just about time we start showing them it doesn't.

It's just about time we start showing them it doesn't. I don't think it matters to many of them. They will continue to incite with what ever method is at hand.
It often seems so hopeless. When the fence is complete and the Gaza pull out is done, they will have a chance to get back to near normalcy.
The pali's will have to deal with their obsessions and hatred till they rid themselves of it, or die. Whichever comes first.

With the Syrian Government assassination of the Lebanese former-PM, the arrest of Syrian agents in Iraq and now the bombing in Isreal by Syrian terrorist agents, maybe its time for the region to act to have "regime change" in Syria and remove this trouble maker once and for all.

Yikes! I think that deserves an inline picture:

That is the 'traditional'scenario. And there may be some modest activity along those lines.
However, based on the statements and silences of Vice President Cheney, President Bush, Mr. Sharon, and the various Ayatollahs of Iran, with the big game coming up, no sooner than one month from now and no later than the end of June, 2005, the F-16s will find other important things to do.
