Someone made the point one day that when he was young and had long hair he was always arguing that people shouldn't mistrust him just because he had long hair. His insight was that he really WASN'T trustworthy back when he had long hair. I had to admit his story described me too.
And then we (most) grow up and, like it or not, shed those outwardly signs of rebellion, and join with the majority of our peers to become productive members of society.
Of course the long hair bit helped enamor Churchill to his college classes.
On the other hand, Calypso Louis Farrakhan, Howard The Unstable Dean, or Al Sharpie Sharpton look good in their suit and tie. It's only after they open their mouth that one realises thy are charlatans.
