thanks for your statement and it is just as I expected it would be.
To everyone - For the record:
critisizing GW Bush is not a difficult game to play - and anyone has the freedom to do just that, but I can think of nobody I'd rather have in the WhiteHouse now. I am more loyal to W, in spite of his flaws, than I am to the GOP -

Thanks for getting my back until Jim "M-1 Abrams" Robinson showed up to dust the competition.
Excellent argumentation. :-)

That vile book, that made the cocaine charge, wasn't reprinted. People of a certain ilk have a tendency to go into "it might be false but it's accurate" mode when the game is to hurt someone they see as a threat. How likely is it that this guy minded the Rather-memogate fraud, other than that it didn't work?

You need to read the thread. I don't like repetition. And you think I care what you believe because?

you are correct it looks more like 2.5 personal services to 1 operating expenses. I guess my 6 year old info is no longer the case. I stand corrected.

I'm a liar and your ignorant, but I could stop.
Your absence of belief is not proof the other person lied. Sorry, but nice try.

My pleasure!
Truth be known, I do not have an opinion on Mr. Bush's alleged drug use. I consider it to be between him and his maker (and NOT the state, because he has never been charged with any crime).
All I endeavored to do with the self-admitted LIAR was to see the evidence of his allegation for myself. As easy as it was to pass from his LYING lips, I figured he could scrounge something up.
I'll have to remain ignorant, and BS will have to remain a liar.
Works for me ;'}

There never has been a war on drugsHow would a "real" war on drugs be different from what the government's been doing under that name?

I don't get it. The President is a non-factor after 2008, but until then he is firmly cemented as President and here to stay. You would think liberal efforts could be better spent elsewhere rather than focusing on someone of relevant irrelavance. In other words, continuing to attack him makes not a wit of difference. But I guess that is to be expected from half-wits...

Issue the death penalty for the sale and distribution, then carry it out. Problem solved. Malaysia is a good example. No drugs, no users. Practically no crime, either.

Joe Conason? Don't waste your time; he's a MAJOR Clinton buttboy.
He's REALLY good friends with Sidney Blumenthal and Gene Lyons!
You can safely bet your house that those three are behind all these nasty Bush bashing stories.

This is new (just came in 6/12/05) and updated information that came in an e-mail from Newsmax.com : 2.Another George Bush Did Cocaine For years journalists have been trying to chase down reports that George W. Bush was once arrested on a cocaine possession charge. It's true that George W. Bush of Midland, Tex. - where the president grew up - was arrested on an "unlawful practice of medicine" charge. But that George W. Bush did not go on to become leader of the free world, according to documents obtained by Radar magazine. The magazine discovered the rumors about President Bush have been based on a strange case of mistaken identity. While the documents indicate that the arrested man had blue eyes, like the president, and a similar build, they show his birth date to be Dec. 7, 1945. The man in the White House was born on July 6, 1946. A court judgment filed in 1987, the year after George Bush says he gave up drinking, reveals that the man who shares his name was convicted and hit with a $2,000 fine and a year of probation. The arrest story originated in J.H. Hatfield's 1999 book "Fortunate Son: George W. Bush and the Making of an American President." Hatfield, who himself was convicted of drug dealing and attempted murder, claimed that Bush was busted for drug possession in Texas but convinced a judge to expunge his record by volunteering for an inner-city outreach program. The book was thoroughly discredited. Hatfield's publisher recalled the book less than a week after its release and Hatfield committed suicide a year later. The president has vehemently denied the drug claim. The architect of Bush's purported deal with the Texas judge was rumored to be well-known Texas attorney Warren Burnett, according to Radar. Burnett happened to be the lawyer who represented the "other" George W. Bush, the newly disclosed documents show. Perhaps Michael Moore can deflate this rumor about President Bush in his next documentary. Fat chance.
