He worked for the command and delivered notices for Jews to report for "resettlement". From what I read, he and his family were allowed to keep a portion of the wealth these unfortune souls left behind. There were more then a few scum of Jewish ethnicity who collaberated with the Nazis, even in the camps. Gouring's second in command was half Jewish (his father) and was eventually hung in Israel for war crimes.
