Modesto -- Police stood watch over the home once shared by Scott and Laci Peterson after Laci Peterson's mother angrily confronted Scott Peterson's family as they hauled furniture and other belongings from the vacant house.

Police stood by on Saturday while the Petersons loaded the truck and then left. Officer Derrick Letsinger said authorities were called out "to keep the peace."

No one was arrested.

Neighbors reported a loud argument between Laci Peterson's mother, Sharon Rocha, and Scott Peterson's mother, Jackie Peterson, and his brother, John, as the Petersons carried belongings to a rental truck, police said.

Rocha left shortly after police arrived, but two people who had accompanied her stayed behind to photograph items loaded into the truck.

You bet it does.

I can't think of one thing they "handled" the way it should have been done.

Don't think that's the point. The house is being put up for sale.

Somehow, I'd imagine that a family that can afford a $3,000 an hour attorney can afford Joe's moving company to take the $10.00 ironing board out of the house.

Peterson didn't wake up one day to become the philandering, lying, murdering sociopath he is. His upbringing has to have exerted some effect and, upon observing his mother's actions up to and during the trial and hearing about this latest dust-up, I think I see where some of it came from.

BTW Am I the only one who thinks Peterson's father is a wimp?

There is no way he can PROFIT from her death; his part will go to Laci, therefore to her parents, as next of kin.

Don't think so. The house was an existing 'investment' presumeably co-owned with Laci. Sale of that asset would not be considered profiting from her death. In any case, I extracted a quote from the article and the article says that 'Laci's estate owns at least half' and 'Peterson and his parents own the rest'.

Sounds like it was the Rocha family who did the 'racing' over to the house. They're willing participants in this brouhaha.

...but racing over to my murdering son's home to fetch a valuable ironing board would not be high on my priority list.

Joe's Moving Company wouldn't get involved in this mess. Sharon Rocha, the cops, lawyers--no business would touch it.

"Sounds like it was the Rocha family who did the 'racing' over to the house."

I think Sharon Rocha has enough experience with Scott's mother to be ready for anything. Of course they raced over there.

I think Geragos got all their money.

Probably. Now they're having a garage sale so Mrs Peterson can buy more oxygen.

Wonder if Mrs Peterson had her oxygen tank with her when she was busy loading all the goodies into the U-Haul.

No she wasn't.Fox News was showing a clip of Mrs.Peterson getting into the moving truck and she said to the media "you put him there, now you get him out".

You just have to wonder what would provoke a family member to do this. Hope she enjoys every dollar she makes.

I saw her blasting the media and couldn't put my finger on why she looked so different. Did anyone notice if she had her oxygen mask on when she attended the hearing this week or was that only worn in the presence of the jury?

"you put him there, now you get him out".

Guess that's suppose to imply that her sonny-boy is simply an innocent bystander huh?
