"divisive"
When liberals start calling conservative views on homosexuality or abortion "divisive," you know they are trying to suppress free debate. They are frauds; the conservative position on these issues is no more "divisive" than the liberal position; the issues are intrinsically divisive, period.

I'm a bit surprised to see Fr. Hesbergh's name on this initiative. He has been a big-time troublemaker, and is chiefly responsible for the downhill course taken by our Catholic colleges since his sponsorship of the Land O' Lakes initiative. But he usually is careful to cover himself. He hires pro-aborts, but then pleads their academic freedom.
Here he seems to put his name on a pro-abort program. Someone should go after him for that.

Same old Gramscian cr@p. Infiltrate, confuse, subvert, destroy.
As far as I'm concerned, anyone who is pro-abortion and pro-sodomy has forfeited any claim to be a follower of Jesus Christ--from ANY denomination.

A person's religious views largely are based on his cultural experience. Since the Liberal "culture" is largely agnostic to atheistic, we have a liberal religion that reflect that. A religion whose "salvation" or whatever they call it is is simply adhering to liberal politics and repeating their talking points like a parrot.
I grew up in such a church. it is like they never have anything insightful to say. They just repeat their lines like and actor with no originality and frankly I question whether they actually believe anything.

>>They are as Timothy wrote: treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God 2Tim3:4(NIV).<<
Small quibble. The apostle Paul wrote the letters TO Timothy. The writer was probably just caught up in the enthusiasm of the moment.
