Patrick Henry, who I believe was one of the TRUE Christians of the 'founding fathers' is one of the few that saw them coming 200 years ago. A couple of years ago, I ran across a bill that had been languishing in Congress for years, to give special honor to him as a special patriot. Not surprisingly, it didn't get many (or any) takers. It's undoubtedly still sitting there, collecting dust.
