Iran's Main Automobile Manufacturing Facility On Fire
SMCCDI (Information Service)
Mar 1, 2005
A massive fire of undermined origin is ravaging the Iran-Khodro factory, at this time (21:00 IR local time), which is the main car manufacturing and assembly plant for the country and located near the capital.
The fire is of an undetermined origin, however, it is believed an arsonist started the fire, following months of worker discontent. It has been reported that most employees have not been paid in many months and working conditions were abominable.
The huge fire can be seen from kilometers away and most of the firefighter brigades are from the capital and nearby suburbs. Many firefighters from Karaj have been dispatched to the affected area.

The people haven't been paid in months? What are the mullahs thinking?
How can they be spending money financing terror, developing nuclear weapons, and their people are going without paychecks?
Well, as long as the cause is only arson, and not a nuclear meltdown!
Now wait. An Arab-built automobile? Now there's a scary thought. Could it be that they are all rag-tops?
Are Yugos still for sale?
The Iranian Revolution is on life-support.
Does that mean this vehicle also replaces the camel as a sex surrogate?
Iranians are NOT Arabs
How can this be in an Islamic theocracy where the clock has stopped in the 13th century?
More like rag-bottoms. I believe that they are a high-tech version of a flying carpet.
I did a search to see what they make. The car pictures resemble a riceburner look-alike and it appears they are somehow associated with Peugeot. Is that a "French Connection"?
Bwahaha!!!
And so it begins...
'On Arab governments and Causes of Terrorism'

Talks about the socialistic nature of arab govs in relation to their problems (among other things). Sounds like this was a 'state owned' factory.
