What would you suggest the police do if a person refuses to cooperate? Now, if I understand you correctly, the police are just to walk away......

Tasering the guy inches away from an infant was both totally unnecessary and irresponsible in the extreme. Of course the cops shouldn't have "just walked away," nor did I even remotely suggest they should've. But they could've got him to the ground and handcuffed him. .....IF they were competent cops.

I think we are close to agreement, I think the only thing we disagree about is what really happened there. You (I assume) believe the account from a witness (who most likely has a bias), I prefer to give the benefit of doubt (not knowing anymore then we do here) to the police and that it may not have occured the way it was portrayed.

Since it is unlikely we will ever know what really happened, we will agree to disagree.
