What are Doris's positions? Why are they so bad and flynn's in comparison so good?

Do some work for us rather than just barging in.

I'll post a few Doris positions for you. I can post more, but RWGuy can do that if need be.

Doris opposes the war in Iraq.
Doris supports the right for same sex couples to be legally married.
Doris opposes President Bush's tax cuts.
Doris thinks are immigration laws are too strict and creates problems with Mexico.

Impeach gave the highlights.

It is pretty simple. Doris Matsui, formerly of the Clinton White House, has the support of the liberal Democrat establishment, led by Nancy Pelosi. That says it all. She is your typical liberal Democrat on everything.

Flynn is the leading Republican candidate, having been appointed twice by President Ronald Reagan. That should say enough about him. In addition, was head of technology for Governor Bill Weld and Governor Pete Wilson. Competent.

This is not a hard one to figure out. Bush is under all-out assault by the Democrats on everything. Since this is the only special election in the country, everyone is going to be reading the results like tea leaves.

So it is important for conservatives to beat expectations. If we can hold Matsui to less than 50%, then there is a run-off in 4 weeks. That will make it a race of national importance. So it is important to jump in now and make that happen.

As one who lives int he district, no need.

Robert Matsui was reportedly a really nice guy -- and a total Clinton lock-stepper. His seat was impregnable. Candidates for that seat are simply "sacrificial lambs."

She's trying to inherit his seat just by being (A) his widow and (B) a Dem.

Sadly, in this district, that's probably enough.
