Filibusters are necessary to the fair functioning of our Republican form of government. We, as citizens, should take great care before encouraging the removal of this weapon intended for use by the out-of-power political power.
Remember---the Tyranny of the Majority is never far away. Someday, the majority may be coming after me.

The weak spined GOP is still calling it the 'nuclear' option when it is the CONSTITUTIONAL option. The real rules, not the Senate rules, in the Constitution make no provision for a filibuster on judicial nominees.
