They are "slanguage". On the Variety.com website, those words are prexy and perf, not doubled as they are here. They are hyperlinks to the variety.com slanguage dictionary definitions and I am guessing that the links caused the words to be duplicated when the person posted this.

Why Variety is using slanguage in their published articles? Probably to appear trendy.
