On his revived Web site, www.jeffgannon.com, he has introduced a new feature, called "Today's Briefing Question." From the first entries, it is apparent that he still has a major league rightfielder's arm and can throw a softball with the best of them.

I confess I never heard of Editor & Publisher before they broke this false scandal, and at this point I hope I never hear of them again. They sound like a broken record with nothing to say.

Gannon's website is excellent with lots of new information. Well worth a read.

I think Gannon should be back in the briefing room. If Helen Thomas is there, he should be there as well.

He would be a sensation for the Bushies, and a lot of people would tune in just to hear him. (Including me).

If the White House were smart, they would respond to the questions posed. A "we're taking one in absentia from the blogsphere" and answer the Gannon question. But alas, they are wimps.
