Democrats Hammered In Memo
March 3, 2005

Now, I mentioned earlier, ladies and gentlemen, that I had a revealing quote from the latest memo from James Carville and Stanley Greenberg to the Democrat rank and file. And here's the revealing paragraph as written by -- it's the Democracy Corps memo -- it's Greenberg and James Carville that came out yesterday.

"So, we ask progressives to consider, why have the Republicans not crashed and burned? Why has the public not taken out their anger on the Congressional Republicans and the president? We think the answer lies with voters’ deeper feelings about the Democrats who appear to lack direction, conviction, values, advocacy or a larger public purpose."

Shazam! So the Democrats have been hammered here. There's an answer to the question, "Why have the Republicans not crashed and burned over Social Security reform? Why has the public not taken out their anger?" There isn't any. It used to be a majority support President Bush's plan, it's just down now to 48%. There is no real anger out there at Bush over this or the Republicans over this. This is the Democrats falling into this trap. It's a 30-year-old playbook. You mention you're going to change Social Security; the country is going to hate you. It's not the case. They just haven't kept up with what are the genuine cultural changes, as well as political, that have taken place.

Could it be that Mary Matalin, his wife, made do it?

This is a rare confession that the Democratic Party is really messed up!

"We think the answer lies with voters’ deeper feelings about the Democrats"

Hint: Don't sit anti-Americans next to Jimmy Carter at the convention. In fact, just stop being so anti-american in general. If the UN & EU is so great, move.

You should see and hear all the anti-social security reform ads the dems are running here.

Then I watch the news last night and BaaBaa Bwoxer is congratulating herself over the "fact" that the American public doesn't want soc. sec. reform. "America likes it just the way it is!"

I get sooo tired of the lies.

You mean wesley Clark, the guy who led us in Kosovo, where we never hit one tank, but managed to bomb the Chinese Embassy in Belgrade.

The need a "centrist" like Wesley Clark, the arsonist of Waco.

I don't know, he did help the REPUBLICAN party raise money a couple of years ago.

I knew dems who liked Clark, and I used to ask them, do you honest to god thinks he believes half the stuff thats coming out of his own mouth? They never really gave a straight answer to that.

why have the Republicans not crashed and burned? Why has the public not taken out their anger on the Congressional Republicans and the president?

Well, actually the public has. It crashed and burned the Democrats. It also has taken out their anger on the Congressional Democrats by taking down Daschle and by sending Kerry back to his wife's home.

The Dems have a perfectly clear direction. It's right over the cliff.

"Why have the Republicans not crashed and burned over Social Security reform? Why has the public not taken out their anger?"

It's just a natural by product of "we the people..." being able to connect quickly and on a very large scale. Very simply, social security is the greatest fraud ever FORCED on free people. As a mental corollary to this realization is the fact that Democrats, or should I say Progressives....er what I REALLY MEANT TO SAY...SOCIALISTS are the architects of this anti-freedom SCAM.

...lack direction, conviction, values...

Actually, I can think of a lot of convicted Democrats. I can think of a lot more who ought to be convicted.

Carville better watch talking like that. He will be denounced and marginalized. The Supreme Soviet of the Democratic Party doesn't appreciate constructive criticism
