"I call it ... Rex Kwando!"
When the weather warms up, I'm taking all the kids and grandkids for a day in Preston. We'll wear the Preston High School t-shirts, eat at Big J's, take pictures at all the locations, then have dinner at Maddox on the way home. (Maddox has nothing to do with Napoleon. It's just a famous, destination restaurant in Northern Utah.)
I'm toying with the idea of renting a school bus for the trip, so we can all ride together. I think all the kids should have an action figure on a long piece of fishing line, don't you? After I'm dead, I want my grandkids to laugh hysterically every time they talk about what a geek Grandma was.
I was suprised how clean it is, amazing how things change, sometimes for the better.
"Knock it OFF, Napoleon! Make yerself a dang kaysadilla!"
VELVEETA! i loved that.
Me also, isn't it awsome? I love being a dad.
Just south of Brigham City.
Yes, the worldwide web is great, but Maddox makes me salivate.
I think I'll take my wife there for her birthday dinner.
You know, there's like a butt-load of gangs at this school. This one gang kept wanting me to join because I'm pretty good with a bo staff.
I haven't seen the movie, but I had to to a map quest to see where Preston is. I'm embarrased to say I didn't know - and I grew up in Idaho, went to college in eastern Idaho (Pocatello) and lived in central Idaho until my mid-thirties. *blush*

Boy, how white is Utah when the Chinese restaurants aren't even staffed by Chinese waiters. :^)
I make my son so mad when I say...
"get your own tots"
LOL Great movies, but some people don't get it.
"I don't want to get in to a semantic argument over it, I just want the protein"
Listen to the prank call, it's sweet.
When I was clerking on the Tenth Circuit, Katie Eccles was also a clerk. Any relation?
The waiters are white, but the cooks are Mexican.
"Here's your not-an-omelette."
The conversation about hunting wolverines ("...like, 50!!") with a shotgun just had me rolling.
"Gramma had a little accident at the sand dunes,....... broke her coc-kix"
No. I went to law school with Hope Eccles, however, great grand daughter of Marriner Eccles, patriarch of the famous Eccles family.
"JCEccles" has reference to Sir John C. Eccles, a Nobel Prize winner in medicine, a devout Christian and Aussie who believed the existence of the soul could be proven experientially. I have always been impressed with his faith and great intelligence even if I do not fully understand his science.
BTW, a friend and former law partner of mine, Blake Atkin, clerked for Monroe McKay on the Tenth Circuit. Do you know him?
