Why I despise Liberals in Conservative clothing more than the liberals themselves.

Clark Supports Martin's Decision on BMD Josh Pringle Friday, March 4, 2005

Joe Clark says former Prime Minister Paul Martin did the right thing when he decided Canada would say no to participation in the U-S missile defence program.

The former Conservative Prime Minister says there are too many unanswered questions about the U-S plan.

Clark compared Martin's decision on Missile Defence to one former Conservative prime minister Brian Mulroney had to make in 1985 when he rejected a U.S. proposal to have Canada take part in its Strategic Defence Initiative.

You see ladies and gentleman and in particular Canadian conservatives, this is why I support Harper. I cannot stand any red "Tories" leading the party. If you want to take a look at how it's like all you have to do is look at the PM-ship of Brian Mulroney and Joke Lark.

From the headline, I thought this was going to be yet another rant about Frist!

Dithers did not make his decision based on the merits of the BMD,he based it on politics. Leaving the country prone to attacks is a liberal thing to do.

Joke Lark.

ha ha!

Unfortunately, the pussified Clark was no joke - he sunk his own ship beneath his feet, and us with him.

He should shut up - and perhaps enter a monastery.

And the fact that the US Missle Defense program barely functions on its own means little to this conversation?

You are asserting "facts" that have not been established. To date, most phases of the US Missile Defense programs have been very successful. The elements of the the programs that have been unsuccessful are being reworked and are seeing vast improvement. We have successfully demonstrated kinetic impact "hit-to-kill" lethality of interceptor missiles in medium range programs and in high altitude and even exoatmospheric programs.

While you may prefer a complete lack of a missile defense such that we would have no choice but to sit helplessly and watch an incoming missile if it is launched by another nation or rogue missile commander, your claim that the Missile Defense program "barely functions" is a wildly inaccurate statement.

I quit my job in March '79 to work unpaid full time in the Tory campaign against Trudeau - what a wasted effort that turned out to be!

Clark is just another intellectually bankrupt Euro-socialist, slavishly craving acceptance by the Canadian Establishment.

He's succeeded at that, at least.

I am really getting fed up with limp-wristed, brainless liberal arts graduates getting all high and mighty and "explaining the facts" about rocket science.

Heaven forbid they take calculus, but they know ALL ABOUT missile technology.

Heck, if the human race had followed her logic we'd still be trying to decide if fire was a good thing or not.

Leaving Canada and Europe undefended is fine with me. When the missiles are fired maybe we should lob a few of our own at them just for practice. For too long they have decided to let us defend them and spend their money on destroying their countries from within.
