Also, I love Medved's short, snappy audio movie reviews online. Check them out at the link below... I was a bit surprised about the movie Constantine. Medved likes it and says it takes the Devil and demons seriously. Click to the archives to hear Medved's now famous review of Million Dollar Baby. You'll find out that he doesn't truly spoil it, just provides a general warning that the movie makes a sudden shift in direction and becomes a "right to die" issue flick. And he says the ad campaign is very deceptive.

Go here for Eye on Entertainment (MP3) audio reviews:

Might you know where Medved stands on the illegal immigration issue?

Well, I can't really speak for MM, but from what I gather he supports a commonsense approach to the illegal immigration issue. He has infuriated some of the hard core on this issue because he doesn't believe that we can just start rounding people up and sending them back. He doesn't think it's feasible, practical, or living in reality. Basically, he supports President Bush's guest worker idea. I'm sure he thinks it needs to be debated and tweaked. I think he's also for increased measures on the border but I'm not sure if he goes as far as O'Reilly and thinks we need the military--not sure about that. To me, he seems maybe just a little bit left of right center or right center on the issue. He doesn't go along with what the left would like to do and he isn't extreme in the other direction either.

If you haven't listened to his show in the past, I would highly recommend it. You might not agree with him on immigration or some other ideas, but if you are conservative you will definitely find his show to be very informative and you will find yourself in agreement with him more than not. He is very intelligent and EXTREMELY knowledgeable about history--specifically U.S. History. I don't think there's anything he doesn't know, hasn't read, or at least heard of. Also, he's a big supporter of Christians even though he is Jewish. This angers some, people like Schmuley Boteach, who thinks he stands up more for Christians than he does the Jews. This isn't the case though. Because he is such a first rate moral guy he is a great ambassador for Jewish Americans. Also his deep love and appreciation for this country clearly comes through. He ends each show with "in this greatest country on GOD's green earth" and he very much means it.

Although that link says it's updated monthly, it shows him in OKC at 3:00 in the afternoon, he hasn't been here for a long, long time. I miss him. He presented some of the most intelligent, well thought out opinions on talk radio. I sure hope someone around here does pick him up.
