This IS disgusting and the Credit Card Companies need to be better controlled. If you don't agree, please read the article.

Just more of the same liberal victim mentality crap.
If you don't want to pay excessive interest rates/late fees, then don't borrow the money.
That simple.

I'm all for being responsible with debt but this bankruptcy act is the US Gov't including President Bush bought by banks.
Please read the article before you say you disagree. I'm calling my Senator and Rep on this one.

Sorry guy...the CC companies aren't her problem. Her problem began way before the first late notice...like not being able to recognize a bad choice in husbands, for instance. Not so much a knock on husbands per se...just that this didn't happen overnight.

I believe that it is disgusting too. Although people do need to be personally responsible for their choices, I believe if an individual person were to charge these interests rate/late fee's etc., they would be called a LOAN SHARK! These companies are deceptive and constantly changing the terms of their agreements and too many consumers are just simply unaware of their rights. It is time to put some restraints on these companies. They are getting rich and the tax payer, ultimately pays for it (when individuals file for bankruptcy, these card companies get to write off the debt that was not paid).
