Kennedy's head snaps forward about two inches on impact but blather would never had known that without overlaying the frames to measure it. I doubt seriously he had the knowledge or ability to even think about doing that.

Curiously I was in the 10th grade in Jacksonville, Florida at Nathan Bedford Forrest High School in November 1963. I did hear cheering and jokes on the assassination of JFK. It is neither a myth nor an apocryphal story. I experienced it first hand.

We are apparently about the same age and I can vouch for what you are saying here but there is much more to the story.

When we first head the news we assumed someone was pulling our leg and joked about it a good deal. I include myself in that as I was one of the CHIEF jokers in my high school. The part of the story NOT being told is that when we found out that the President really had been assassinated the mood instantly changed very dramatically.
