In my town there is a son of a Confederate veteran whose father served with my GGGF in his squad. My GGGF was his Sgt. in the 7th Mississippi Cavalry, C.S.A. The last Confederate widow in Mississippi died in 1987 has two surviving sons. She lived about four miles from here.
