Legislation seeks to put in place a system to save the life of the disabled Florida woman.

The U.S. House of Representatives is set to consider legislation this week that would save Terri Schiavo's life by granting the disabled Florida woman the same right to due process as criminals......

That's why there was no point in writing to them before; it appears too many people are unwilling to pay attention to what is going on, even when, by law, the are compelled to do so. Letter-writing may help....I can only pray that the senators from New York do what is right by Terri (and the potential thousands of human beings, if not more, that Greer's rulings will effect).

Terri goes Goo~Goo eyes over Attorney Gibbs

Last night at hospice Terri's father, Robert Schindler and Attorney Gibbs visited with Terri. Mr. Schindler was the first to enter Terri's room, approaching Terri on her right. As always, Terri was delighted to see her Dad until Mr. Schindler announced that Mr. Gibbs was with him.

Mr. Gibbs moved closer to Terri's left greeting her with, "Hello Terri."

Terri, hearing Mr. Gibb's deep voice immediately turned to her left to look at him. Terri's Dad stated that once she eyed Mr. Gibbs that was the end of his visit with her because she was no longer interested in anything he had to say to her..."she was goo-goo eyes over Attorney Gibbs."

Mr. Schindler then exclaimed, "Terri, Terri, look at me. I've come here to see you as well and now you cannot take your eyes off of Attorney Gibbs, what am I chopped liver?" Terri responded with laughter to her father's comment but her eyes remained focused on Mr. Gibbs.

Bob said,"Well, Cheryl that's the last time I will be taking Mr. Gibbs along with me since my daughter did not hear anything I had to say once he had her attention."

Terri responded with laughter to her father's comment but her eyes remained focused on Mr. Gibbs.

Oh, if anyone should doubt that Terri can't respond with laughter, you need to watch this:

Please spread this to everyone on and off of FR:

President of the Florida Senate Tom Lee says he is against HB 701. He needs to be apprised of coverup of crimes against Terri (reference CIG and AHCA case numbers under which the evidence is lodged). He also needs to be apprised of the fact that by his not supporting HB 701 he is saying that you don't need INFORMED CONSENT to off the most vulnerable and disabled by substituted hearsay wishes not their own. If they can't speak, etc. and have been prevented to regain the ability to speak or communicate then the conflicted party will be getting away with murder with the help of the State. Please urge Mr. Lee and his compatriots in the FL Senate to support and pass the companion senate bill to HB 0701. [NOTE: Companion Senate bill is SB 2128.]

Please come to Capitol building in Tallahassee this Wednesday (03-09-05) by 8:30AM. If the bill dies that day this is all over.

Go to where Health Regulation Committee is meeting. There should be a board with that info. like the airport monitors. Go there.

Get up to speak. Say you support the bill and sit back down.

This whole thing is crazy.

Terri is not brain dead.

Terri is capable of responding.

Terri is still in there. She needs therapy in order to find her way back.

Her husband should not be the final authority in this case because he has a vested interest in her death. If he were truly in love with her, he'd move heaven and earth to have her back.

Girlfriend with his two kids better watch out -- he's a dangerous man. If he gets by with murder once, there's a good probability he'll try to murder again.

(As an EX of an abuser and a murderer who got off via perjury, I know whereof I speak.)

Thank you for your post. Those of us who have suffered spousal abuse, whether physical or mental, have recognized that this is what it's all about as far as Michael is concerned (the euthansia contingent notwithstanding). We look at her and realize that it could have been us, and it gives us an even more compelling empathy with her. We feel obligated work to get her free from the clutches of this monster.
