hmm, wonder what their cancer rates will be?? After a lifetime of hormone therapy in the milk??

The growth hormones in milk are protein hormones (unlike the sex hormones or thyroid hormone). They are destroyed in the stomach when they are ingested so they have no effect in humans who drink milk. That is the reason why insulin (also a protein hormone) must be injected and not taken by mouth.

BST is in milk naturally, so it would be fairly easy to pin down if it was added BST that was the factor. Since few dairies add BST those who drink added BST milk would show a difference and the study showed that there was none for all milk drinkers.

Now do a study on early puberty and watching MTV and my guess is there will be a correlation :)
