A cult is a religious group with extreme beliefs and practices - beliefs that are often contrary to science and logic but they are believed as "obvious" truth by the cult members.

Jesus walked on water, rose from the dead, and turned water in to wine. He was born of a virgin birth.

Supernatural events are not 'cultist'. Christianity would be a cult if it said you're doomed to die if you don't believe those things.

I'm not Christian, but it's far from a cult. islam is 100% certified as one though.

And I believe it, but I won't kill you if you don't.

"Jesus walked on water, rose from the dead, and turned water in to wine. He was born of a virgin birth."

You confuse articles of Faith, that REQUIRE faith because they ARE miraculous (ie: go against that which is known to be true) with pig head 7th century enforced stipidity or outright unreasoning impossibility that a cult may resort to to serve its ends.

None of the things Jesus did was unreasonable per se, just damned unlikley or impossible.

Jesus doing these things has the desired effect. If He had, say, walked down the street instead of walking on water no one would have been terribly impressed.
