Fred Phelps is what most of us would term an as____e, but I don't remember him crashing planes into skyscrapers, beheading people on TV, and so much else.
To compare to 'exploits' of Phelps to the ongoing murder and genocidal policies of a Satanic religion is going well over the top.
So why won't you consider that most Moslems may regard the Islamofascists as as____es? If you're going to judge a religion by its worst examples, why shouldn't Christianity be judged by Fred Phelps? Even if Phelps isn't crashing airplanes into buildings, he's still an as____e, so shouldn't we say all Christians are? At least by the standards you apply.
Let me go back to my original point: the very admirable Iraqi voters are Moslems; are you saying that they do not want peace and order, but only to kill unbelievers? If you aren't saying that, what are you saying?
