Shoe buyers beware! Hackers have stolen credit card and other personal information from those who shop at DSW.
A spokesperson with the company says they got word last week the information had been stolen from more than 100 stores.
The spokesperson with DSW says the hackers stole credit card and personal shopping information on Friday from its customers.
They say computer hacking activity took place during the last 90 days.
Retail Ventures, the parent company for the chain, immediately reported the information to federal authorities
The Secret Service is also investigating the incident.
Chaz Withers says, "Protecting our customers, who are very loyal customers, is clearly our first priority. We are doing everything we can right now to make sure that is the case."
The company is not disclosing the location of the individual stores because the incident is still under investigation.
They do want customers to keep a close eye on their credit card statements for any suspicious charges.
