You could almost hear the disappointment in the voice of Katie and her fellow Today Show types. It looks like the husband and mother of U.S. District Judge Joan Lefkow were not murdered as the result of a plot by Mathew Hale, the leader of the racist, anti-semitic, "World Church of the Creator." Instead, it appears the murderer was a crackpot, whose loony $1 billion lawsuit against civil authorities had been thrown out of court by Lefkow. The apparent murderer shot and killed himself when detained in a routine traffice stop yesterday, leaving behind a bizarre suicide note accusing the US of being like Al Qaeda, etc. ----

It seemed that the NBC reporter broke some news with his report. NBC had gotten the guy's name, researched him and found the wacky suit he had filed that the judge had dismissed, and also apparently was given access to the contents of the suicide note. I haven't seen it reported elsewhere. I'm sure details will be emerging during the day.
