Even co founded a bank in the 80's. MBNA will NOT lower rates. They are little better than loan sharks, and spent tens of millions to buy this vote on capitol hill. Please read post 32 for the TRUTH about bankrupcies.
Which is why I won't get a card from them, and why I have canceled all credit cards except for my American Expressand one visa (at 4.99%) which I pay in full every month. I had to learn the hard way not to keep balances on credit cards.
