(Denny Crane: "Sometimes you can only look for answers from God and failing that... and Fox News".)
"so I thought it best to plead the fifth! ;-)"
Going back to read the fifth now.
Hahaha!!!
I better go to work before I get myself in more trouble (if that's possible *LOL*)
Who do think's doing the snitching?
Those who prefer a "don't ask, don't tell" approach to relations at the firehouse or "redblooded 'merican men" who are -- by all indications where comments on FR, much less this nation's porn receipts are concerned -- unmoved by the prospect of getting some with a co-worker or firehouse groupie?
Just curious. Maybe it's all the beds. During my stint in the convention industry, it became clear that the hotel people were literally the worst skanks in the business. My boss and I had a discussion on that once ... we figured it was being surrounded by all those beds.
In any case, I don't know another industry -- besides the military whose Personal Space women also have invaded -- where offices romances and Christmas Party hijinks consistently result in such public "send a message" penalties. There must be a reason.
Yep! As long as they do a fast c.... interruptus during an alarm I wouldn't mind at all. This is something nobody external has to bother with. Since they did not neglect their duties as two regular fireworkers all public attention is just another form of pathological voyeurism.
Well I'm just glad it was a man and a woman.
Do you know how much cops and firefighters hate it when you say that "I pay your salary"? You don't pay their salary, you pay taxes. You aren't their boss and you have no authority to speak of where their policies or discipline is concerned.
Apparently, these particular firefighters weren't discreet about their encounters or there was just some sex-starved fireman that was jealous.
The only reason this made the news is that some socialist MF decided that it was a good way to "bring down" some of our heroes, i.e., the people that save you when your a$$ is in the fire.
Yah. I do. They hate it as much as the bus drivers hate the folks who put in their county-paid tokens to ride, then rag on the drivers, and leave their garbage behind for the driver to dispose of at the next lay-over.
Don't get me started on "public servants" because you'll be here all night.
Had it been two homosexuals, it'd be a protected civil right.
OK, I won't get you started :-)
Ah. Timid, I see. OK.
Not timid at all, just don't want to start an argument with someone who seems to be on my side.
Heh-heh...smart man!
So how can I help you?
(DANG! My years in customer service are showing! GAH!!!)
"Had it been two homosexuals, it'd be a protected civil right."
Not by me.
"You sound like you have the obstinance of a young man. Good for you, but you'll have to get a little longer in the tooth to really work my nerves. Case in point, I'm going to let you have the last word because I know you won't be able to sleep if you don't. No more responses, just give me a real keyboard lashing."
LOL! I suspect you didn't take the time to read my bio...I also suspect I'm longer in the tooth than you think I am! I was a military wife for 30 years, so don't tell me when I can and can't sleep! LOL! You FUNNY, GI!
(No more responses??? K. I won't hang on your every word.)
You don't pay their salary, you pay taxes. You aren't their boss and you have no authority to speak of where their policies or discipline is concerned.
That is basically true now since they've formed these commie clubs called unions. The people in China have no say over their government employees either.
A "hunka hunka burnin' love" ping.
"Now I won't respond because I think you're a phony."
Ohgolly! I'm crushed! "Sophomoric boy"? Wow! I've been called a lot of things in my life, including "a nutjob". But "sophomoric boy" has that beat seven ways from Sunday!
"A phony" what? Be BRAVE, man! SPILL IT!
