There is not a family dynasty in the U.S. when the leaders are elected by the people. And Jeb and george are not completely alike. Remember, Jeb was supposed to be the smart one.

The VP spot usually doesn't get you any states, but a popular rust belt governor might, if he is real.

I hear that all the time, but it is very rare to see a presidential and VP candidate on the same party ticket that are from the same region.

The examples are rare. I don't think there experiences or popularity are as important as their region (in proportion to the other person on the ticket).

Not only will Jeb be president one day, so will George P. Bush.

It's a simple fact, and I'm happy about it.

Is it just me, But child services seem abysmal in Florida. They turn up missing, dead and tortured down there all the time.

Could be baggage for Jeb and I like him more than GW

You are defining the odds-bet, which is good. The RATs are looking for a God of government. They will anoint one, not elect one. See the difference.

"There is not a family dynasty in the U.S. when the leaders are elected by the people."

There are "family dynasties" all over the place in the US. Check many local and state offices in your area---you'll find'em--I guarantee. THUS FAR, they have been "rare" in national offices--but they HAVE happened--see the Kennedys, Gores, Longs of Louisiana, and others.

"And Jeb and george are not completely alike. Remember, Jeb was supposed to be the smart one."

Yep, and that is a major strike against him. Jeb is a wussy policy wonk type, not a decisive leader like George W. (and that is why I like Condi---she is far more like G.W. in her leadership characteristics than Jeb is). Jeb lacks experience in THE ONE AREA that will be most critical to the USA in the next few years----foreign policy, which Condi has.
