Is there a report stating that he used steriods? If so, has it been confirmed? Is this going to be a steriod made him do it defense?

No, as you no doubt noticed, I was only advancing a question. Did so on other threads where it was agreed that it might explain the behavior. But, never did I advance it as a defense! Don't over-react, I questioned the possibility, as others have questioned other possibilities. Isn't that what we often do on FR?

I am certainly just as appaled as everyone, and not trying to outline a defense but gain some insight. The statements of Nichols' family about the person they knew, vs. his actions, open the opportunity to discuss some possibilities about what might have changed and affected his psyche.

I think you need to direct that to yourself since I did not over react.

You ask me about the possible steroid involvement, and in return my question to you was have you seen, read or heard any reports of Nichols use of steroids.

A simple question. I thought perhaps you had read this somewhere.

And my remark regarding the steroid made me do it defense was not directed at you, but was a general statement.

However I am really not one to speculate in situations such as this, the media does enough of that.
