Thanks for the advice. I'm planning to drive out tomorrow, camera in hand. It sure is wonderful to see this desert blooming.

Do not go out Avenue D. My wife and I just got back(3/12/05 @ 3:00 PM) and there are very few flowers. I don't know what happened. There are a moderate amount on the Avenue I side. Sorry! Maybe it is too early?

I'll check in a couple of weeks and report.
