how at least one illegal immigrant used a false Social Security number to work inside the Crystal River nuclear power plant.
Lemme guess he got himself a false ID and claimed to be someone who checked out OK to work in the plant.
This is always a risk unless we come up with a national biometric ID in which the gubbermint always knows who everyone is and what they are doing.
Me I prefer the stolen SS# situation to the 100% accurate government ID#.....

(The constitution may be flawed but its a whole lot better than what we have now.)

I too don't want a national ID, but trust me, someday we will have one.

Me I prefer the stolen SS# situation to the 100% accurate government ID#..... Document forgery and identity theft is a billion dollar industry because of failure to enforce immigration law. This situation with illegal aliens is one where the scope and scale of the government is almost guaranteed to grow ... the government feeds on its own failures in this regard.
And around 2008 or so, when the time 'the people' catch on to the immensity of 30 to 40 million unknown entities serving them food and traipsing around in their nuke plants and on their airport tarmacs, here will come the Kerry/Clinton Biometric Protection Act to save us.
