Cristobal Silverio emigrated illegally from Mexico to Stockton, Calif., in 1997 to work as a fruit picker.

Solution: Grow your own food again.

As a kid half the families in my community had family gardens some with a greenhouses on the back lot.

One solution is to grow are own food again then Safeway would have to buy less from Corporate Farms thus not needing Cristobal Silverio the "Picker" man.

do for us while we watch TV?

Hmmmmm................What will you watch today?

Dear Dante3

In the long run the invasion by illegal aliens, along with crazy spending, will bankrupt this country.

Then what will happen to us as a nation?

Well, perhaps those of us who escape annilhilation will be moved into those instant apartment complees while all th illegals move into our homes, and America will be called by a different name. :-( That is unless we decide to do something about it!

i have always had my own garden.... grew up in a farm family that canned and froze all our food for the winter. we didn't have tv either. so i raised my kids that way too... now they thank me and they are good conservative productive young citizens. another thing that is great is a family milk cow. even though the kids have moved out - i still have my milk cow. i cannot stand spending that much for cream and butter. : )

it's easy. and cheap. my cow raises 12 calves in 9 months plus i milk her.

but then, i'm a real hill billy chick... not many left like that most likely. i also don't like buying food others have handled.... haha! it's true... my mother was a cean freak about food and i never got over it.
