Oliver Cromwell, a religiously tolerant person!?!?!
He's the reason my family came to America. My ancestor was given a land grant by Charles the 2nd after the Restoration as restitution for the death of my ancestor's father. My ancestor was beheaded not burned at the stake and my family were not Catholic, they were Anglican. Cromwell hated them as well.

Cromwell was not in the least "tolerant";even "for his time",kid, and I knew more about Oliver the Christmas killer than you'll ever know,long before your parents were even married.

Are you aware, Laura, that google search results don't always link for truth? You need to dig deeper and research who the authors are of what you're reading.
