I'm going to be on Bill O'Reilly's show on Fox News Channel tonight, as part of their coverage of the aftermath of the Nichols shooting here in Atlanta.

The angle that tonight's show is going after is the history of corruption and incompetance of the Fulton County Sheriff's Department, first under prior sheriff Jackie Barrett, then under recently elected sheriff Myron Freeman.

The other guest in my segment will be Dick Williams, moderator of WAGA/Fox 5's The Georgia Gang and a writer with the Atlanta Business Chronicle.

The segment is set for somewhere between 8 and 10 minutes past the hour; The O'Reilly Factor airs tonight at 8 & 11 ET.

side question....do you ever get calls from the non-bloviate media? O'Reilly is an entertainer and a little hard to take IMHO. I know you've been on Smiley's old NPR show, but what about PBS Newshour or Russert's Meet the Press and the other MSM?

The MSM have a bias, and in a sense are worse than O'Reilly, but they get more eyeballs. Are you in their Rolodex's? If not, you should be...

as a 25-year resident of Atlanta, I want to mention that it's not just the Fulton County Sheriff's office that is corrupt, it's the ENTIRE FULTON COUNTY GOVERNMENT! The city of Atlanta's government has been entrenched in such underlying scandal for years - Mayor Maynord Jackson, Mayor Bill Campbell. Those of us Atlantans who are decent people are disgusted by the city leaders who have hi-jacked this city and taken its taxpayers for a ride.

No, none of those - I get plenty of radio and newspaper reporters/hosts to call on me (I did an hour with a couple of black conservative radio hosts in Dallas last Friday night), but I've never done any of those other shows...
