In practical terms, your tax dollars will not be spent duplicating every conceivable language in:

- voting and ballot information
- DMV booklets
- translators in criminal trials
- bi-lingual teachers in public schools

Also, I personally believe it will make us less of a magnet for illegals who can just blend right in, in their little un-assimilated area.

The reality is there have always been areas where immigrants settle. No law will change that. A lot of cities, large and small, already are for all practical purposes bilingual. Even grocery items are often printed in English and Spanish now. It isn't easy learning a new language, especially for older adults. The best thing we can do is concentrate on teaching non-English speaking children and hope that will help their families.
